New Delhi: Director duo Pushkar and Gayathri’s film hit the theatres on September 30 and has been performing well at the box office. After day 7, the film has gathered around Rs 58 crore. The Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan films have opened with positive reviews but they remained mild and didn’t contribute much to the industry.
Box Office Collection
On Day 6, the film earned approx. Rs 7 crore and with this, its total collection stood around at Rs 55.10 crore. However, on day 7, the film slowed down again. The film added just Rs 3 crore to its overall collection on day 7. Now, the total collection stands at Rs 58.31 crore. Meanwhile, the film had an overall 10.31 per cent Hindi occupancy on Thursday.

The neo-noir action thriller film Vikram Vedha directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Mishra. The film is the remake of Pushkar Gayathri’s own Tamil film of the same name.
The plot of the film is based on an Indian folktale ‘Vikram aur Betaal’. It has full of twists and turns. The story shows a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and hunt a gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan).

While talking about the two-hero film with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik told PTI, “First time in 22 years of my career, I felt this pull to safeguard myself. I felt an instinctive pull that I have to be very real because I am opposite an actor, who is the most real performer.”
