New Delhi: Director duo Pushkar and Gayathri’s film had a very low start at the box office but now it is picking speed and showing a surprising trend. On day 6, the film saw an increase of around 10 to 15 per cent. According to India Today’s early trends, the film’s day 6 collection crossed Rs 50 crore domestically. 

Box Office Collection 

On day 6, the film collected approx. Rs 7 crore. With this, the total collection is around Rs 55.10 crore. Vikram Vedha has taken the advantage of the Dussehra holiday. Meanwhile, the film had a general 21.28 per cent Hindi occupancy on Wednesday. 

About Vikram Vedha 

The neo-noir action thriller film Vikram Vedha directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Mishra. The film is the remake of Pushkar Gayathri’s own Tamil film of the same name.

The plot of the film is based on an Indian folktale ‘Vikram aur Betaal’. It has full of twists and turns. The story shows a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and hunt a gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan).

While talking about the two-hero film with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik told PTI, “First time in 22 years of my career, I felt this pull to safeguard myself. I felt an instinctive pull that I have to be very real because I am opposite an actor, who is the most real performer.”
