Lover boy of the South Indian film industry, Vijay Deverakonda is now ready to move out of his comfort zone and step into the action arena with his upcoming film VD 12. Returning to action after a long time, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to make it his best. This was evident when Vijay decided to continue shooting for the movie despite sustaining an injury.
A source close to the actor recently shared details from the sets of VD 12 and revealed, “Vijay Deverakonda suffered a minor injury during an action scene. Despite this, the actor refuses to slow down and continues shooting for VD 12. He has stepped into action after a long break and is highly focused on his preparation.”
Earlier, a report by Times of India stated that Vijay has been keeping a physiotherapist close to him during the shoot of the film. It’s a precautionary measure taken to ensure his safety, considering the intense action sequences of the film that Vijay is involved it. The report further stated that having a physiotherapist on hands “allow Vijay to focus on his training, whiling minimizing the risk of injury.”
Several hours of continuous training and high-octane action sequences take a toll on the physical health of the actor. However, stopping is not an option. No matter how hard the previous day was, Vijay has to come to the sets will full energy. To keep up the physical strength and bounce back, the actor takes ice baths after every intense training session, suggest another report.
While the title of VD 12 will be announced soon, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 28, 2025. The spy thriller directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri will see Vijay in the role of a cop. He will also be joined by Bhagyashri Borse and Rukmini Vasanth. Besides VD 12, the actor will be seen in several movies including VD14, SVC59 among others.
