Vijay Deverakonda On The Mend After Dengue, Set To Resume Kingdom Promotions: Report

Vijay Deverakonda is recovering from dengue and has begun Kingdom promotions from home ahead of its July 31 release.

Vijay Deverakonda is on the road to recovery after being diagnosed with dengue. Reports suggest he was recently discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home. Sources close to the actor have confirmed that he’s responding well to treatment and is eager to return to work.

Speaking to India Today, a source revealed, “He’s slowly getting back on his feet. While doctors have advised rest, the actor is keen on sticking to his work commitments as much as possible. He’s doing much better now. He is at home recovering and responding well to the treatment. Vijay will be doing a couple of interviews in Telugu to kickstart the promotional campaign.”

Vijay is gearing up for the upcoming release of his much-awaited film, Kingdom, a spy action Telugu thriller directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film is slated to release in theatres on July 31, after being postponed due to production delays. Originally slated for March 30, 2025, the film was later rescheduled to May 30, then again to July 4, but now, reportedly, the makers are releasing the film on July 31st.

Kingdom, starring Vijay alongside Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev, is produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Vijay also has VD 14 and SVC59 in the pipeline. SVC59 is scheduled for a pan-India theatrical release in 2025, hitting screens in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
