New Delhi: Seems like actor Vicky Kaushal’s dream is coming true as he is set to collaborate with filmmaker Aanand L Rai on a project. Reportedly, the duo is set to work together on a love story. The leading lady of the film is yet to be decided. For the unversed, Vicky had expressed his desire to work with the filmmaker while reviewing Atrangi Re.

Taking to his Instagram space, Vicky had written, “Kitni pyaari film hai… mazza aa gaya. Sara Ali Khan such a difficult role to play and how wonderfully you have surrendered yourself to it. Dhanush absolute genius. Akshay Kumar Garda uda diye. Aanand L Rai, cast me in your next film, sir, please.” The director had responded to Vicky’s request and he shared Vicky’s stories on his Instagram and said, “Thank you mere bhai. Aur tu cast nahi hoga… tu jabhi hoga kahani hoga.”

According to a Pinkvilla report, Vicky and Anand L Rai are collaborating on new project.“Aanand L Rai and Vicky Kaushal share a very warm bond right since the release of Manmarziyaan and have been keen to work together for a while now. After Atrangi Re and Raksha Bandhan, Aanand L Rai is looking to make a pure love story from the heartland of India. When he shared this thought with Vicky, the actor was extremely excited to be a part of Rai’s world,” revealed a source close to the development.

“The hunt for the female lead is underway. Like all his previous films, this one too has a strong character full of substance for the female counterpart. Both the main leads of the film will be locked in a fortnight,” the source added.
