Sulochana Latkar dies at 94: Sulochana Latkar, a seasoned actress who has appeared in films like Mr. and Mrs., Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, Nagin, and Shree 420, is no more. She passed away at a hospital in Mumbai on June 4. Age-wise, she was 94.

Sulochana Latkar, a seasoned actress, has passed away. On June 4th, the actress passed away. She reportedly had a hospital stay and was receiving treatment. At the age of 94, she passed away in a hospital in Mumbai.

Just before she passed away, Sulochana’s daughter Kanchan informed that the actress had a serious condition. She informed ABP that she was hospitalised as a result of her shortness of breath and other age-related conditions. Her health began to deteriorate on Saturday, June 3, and she was placed on a ventilator with a continuous oxygen flow. She, unfortunately, lost the war for life.

According to reports, the actress’s funeral will be held in the Dadar cremation grounds on Monday, June 5.

Even back in March, she had become worse. After three weeks, she was released from the hospital. Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, had already pledged to cover all of the costs associated with her care and had also given Rs 3 lakh from the chief minister’s fund to the hospital for immediate care.

Sulochana Latkar, a well-known performer, passed away on Sunday, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to her, praising her for her enduring appeal across generations.

”The passing of Sulochana Ji leaves a big void in the world of Indian cinema. Her unforgettable performances have enriched our culture and have endeared her to people across generations. Her cinematic legacy will live on through her works. Condolences to her family. Om Shanti,” he tweeted.

Sulochana Latkar has appeared in 300 films, both in Hindi and Marathi. Most Bollywood actors she had portrayed had been mothers. Sulochana received two honours from the Maharashtra government: the Padma Shri Award in 1999 and the coveted Maharashtra Bhushan Award in 2009. She has starred in several well-known films, including Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, Sujata, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Dil Deke Dekho, Aasha, Majboor, Nai Roshni, Aayi Milan Ki Bela, Gora Aur Kala, Devar, and Bandini.
