Born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Vijay Khare appeared in over 200 Bhojpuri films, earning a stellar reputation for his powerful acting. He rose to fame with iconic films such as Raijzada (1976), Ganga Kinare Mora Gaon (1983), and Hamra Se Biyaah Karba (2003). His contributions to the Bhojpuri film industry were celebrated widely, and his performances remain etched in the hearts of his fans.

In 2019, Vijay Khare was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to Bhojpuri cinema. At the award ceremony, he expressed his hopes for the younger generation’s involvement in revitalizing Bhojpuri films.
