Varun Dhawan And Pooja Hegde Ready For Thrilling River-Rafting Shoot In Rishikesh For Upcoming Movie

Varun Dhawan’s last film, Baby John, didn’t do well at the box office. Because of this, the actor wants to give his best in his next film. He will star in ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, directed by his father, David Dhawan, alongside Pooja Hegde. A new update about the film says that Varun and Pooja are heading to Rishikesh to shoot a river-rafting scene.

Varun Dhawan’s New Rom-Com With Mrunal Thakur And Pooja Hegde

Varun Dhawan will star in the romantic comedy Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai alongside Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. While not much is known about the story, it is said to be inspired by the charm of classic 90s rom-coms.

Varun’s last movie was Baby John, which was released earlier this year. The film had an average performance at the box office, earning around Rs 60 crore worldwide.

Varun Dhawan And Pooja Hegde To Shoot In Rishikesh

According to a report from Pinkvilla, Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde will travel to Rishikesh today (March 21) to shoot an important scene for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The shoot will take place over 3 days.

The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani, may also feature Mrunal Thakur and Sreeleela in key roles. For those who don’t know, Varun started shooting for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in July last year with Kubbra Sait and Maniesh Paul. The movie is set to be a funny comedy.

Varun and David Dhawan’s last film together, Coolie No. 01, was criticized by both audiences and critics. Because of this, the father-son team wants to make sure their next film gives the best entertainment to the viewers.
