New Delhi: The makers of Dhanush starrer Vaathi has finally unveiled the first look poster of the much anticipated movie. Sharing the first look poster, the makers have also announced the teaser release date. The teaser will be out on July 28, that is, tomorrow.
In the poster, Dhanush can be seen sitting on a chair and he is in deep thoughts while writing something. According to reports, Dhanush will be seen as a hardworking teacher in his highly-awaited bilingual drama, Vaathi. He will be shown as an educator on a mission.
Indian film critic Taran Adarsh on Wednesday took to his Instagram handle and shared the fist look poster of Vaathi. He captioned it as, “DHANUSH: FIRST LOOK OF TAMIL – TELUGU BILINGUAL… #Dhanush collaborates with director #VenkyAtluri for a bilingual: #Vaathi [#Tamil] / #Sir [#Telugu]… Costars #SamyukthaMenon… Produced by #NagaVamsiS and #SaiSoujanya… Teaser out tomorrow [28 July 2022].”

Earlier, Dhanush posted a glimpse of his character from Vaathi, taking to his social media handle and hinted to the the release date of the poster and teaser respectively. The poster showed Dhanush facing a blackboard. The note on the blackboard announced the dates of its poster and teaser release.

About Vaathi
Touted to be a bilingual drama, Vaathi is being produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya. Apart from Dhanush, the film will also star Samyuktha Menon in the lead role. The movie will be directed by Venky Atluri. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music, and the final stage of the film shooting is to happen soon.
On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in Russo Brother’s The Gray Man which garnered humongous praise. Meanwhile, a surprise announcement from Dhanush’s ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ is also expected as the film is slated to release on August 18.
