New Delhi: Bollywood’s Big B Amitabh Bachchan will be turning 80 on October 11, 2022. The makers of Big B’s next Uunchai has unveiled the first look poster of Amitabh Bachchan on the eve of his birthday. Uunchai will also star Boman Irani and Anupam Kher on the lead role. The movie will be released on November 11, 2022.
Sharing the first character look, Amitabh Bachchan captioned, “This one from @rajshrifilms is special ..Meet me as Amit Shrivastava in #Uunchai on 11.11.22 .. This film by #SoorajBarjatiya celebrates life and friendship .. Save The Date for @uunchaithemovie.”

The actor took to his social media to share a new poster from his upcoming movie. His character is introduced as Amit Shrivastava. The poster showed two sides of the same character- the confident one in a glam world and the rustic one with hope and ambition.
In his caption, Amitabh Bachchan wrote that this film is really special for him. Introducing his character, Amitabh Bachchan wrote that the film celebrates life and friendship.
The first poster of Uunchai was released on Friendship Day and the poster showed Amitabh Bachchan, Anupan Kher and Boman Irani in silhouettes climbing up a mountain.

Uunchai will also see Danny Denzongpa and Nafisa Ali Sodhi. Uunchai has been directed by Sooraj Barjatya under Rajshri Productions. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on 11th November 2022.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Goodbye has finally released at the theaters. As per the early box office predictions, the film took a small step at the box office. The film marks the Hindi film debut of Rashmika Mandanna.
The first report from the box office stays at the movie minting between Rs 2-3 crore on an opening day. The figure is low considering the tickets were low. Just like Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund or be it Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34, movies without an elegant visual are visible getting their due on OTT as towards theatres. Goodbye appears to fall in the same category, according to the buzz in trade.
