Uttara Baokar Passes Away: Famous television and film industry actress Uttara Baokar has passed away. The actress took her last breath at the age of 79 at Pune’s hospital. Uttara was ill for a long time, and the actress passed away on Tuesday. Her entire family is mourning her death.
Uttara Baokar honoured with the National Award
Actress Uttara Baokar has received the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for Mrinal Sen’s film ‘Ek Din Achanak’. In the year 1984, Baokar was also honoured with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.
At the same time, filmmaker Sunil Sukthankar said that he worked with her in about eight feature films and her longtime collaborator Sumitra Bhave considered her one of the best actresses who could portray strong female characters.
