Urvashi revealed that the makers of Ghuspaithiya were facing a severe financial crisis, being on the brink of losing their land. She explained, “Unko kuch debt aa gaya tha, aur kuch udhari wagairah mein (They had some debt and were caught up in loans and such). The actor further clarified that the scene wasn’t something special that they had created just for the leak. “It was a scene from the movie; it wasn’t something special we had done,” she stated. Urvashi also revealed that the intention behind leaking the scene was not only to gain attention but also to create awareness, particularly for young women. She emphasized that it was meant to send a message about being cautious and aware in certain situations.

The Making Of Ghuspaithiya

Ghuspaithiya is a crime drama directed by Susi Ganesan and is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Thiruttu Payale 2 (2017). The movie stars Urvashi Rautela alongside Vineet Kumar Singh, Govind Namdev, and Akshay Oberoi. Released in theatres on August 9, 2024, the film adds to Rautela’s diverse portfolio.

Urvashi Rautela was also recently seen in Daaku Maharaaj, alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol. Despite criticism surrounding her appearance in the film, particularly the song Dabidi Dibidi, the movie performed well at the box office, earning over Rs. 100 crore worldwide within just four days. Directed by Bobby Kohli, the film features Shraddha Srinath and Prakash Raj in key roles.
