New Delhi: Actor Mukesh Khanna, who earned a name from TV shows like Shaktimaan, is in headlines these days for his video where he made a sexist remark against women. In the clip, he has spoken a lot of derogatory things about girls, after which he is getting trolled fiercely on social media.
Urfi recently, shared some photos on her Instagram story slamming Mukesh for his alleged derogatory remarks on women.
Urfi Javed’s reply
Urfi Javed shared a post which reads, “It is worth noting that he said that if any woman goes to a man for sex, she is a sex worker. Apart from this, no civilized society woman ever goes to men for sex. She had said so, irrespective of the context.”
“For the last several years, people and law-makers used to talk around on sex workers. Such statements only offend the sex worker.” she added.
Urfi also shared a photo of Mukesh on her second Insta story and wrote, “Shaktimaan man. A lot of their content is Islamophobic and anti-women. In one of the videos, he was seen criticising a woman for condemning the anti-women tradition. In another video, he is seen praying to Hindu women to give up their surname if they marry a Muslim man. When such influential people talk like this, it is not only dirty but also very dangerous”.
Mukesh Khanna clarification
However, seeing the matter escalate, Mukesh Khanna clarified his statement by releasing a video on his official YouTube channel Bhishma International. Mukesh had said that a small part of his entire conversation is going viral. The video was spread by cutting out the context in which he was talking.
“Social media bizarre world! They are going to learn good things. But there are more bad learners than good things. The number of people who specialize in creating bad things from inside the good thing is no less. I am being trolled by giving a bad colour to my learning message”, he wrote on social media.
