Thangalaan
‘Thangalaan’ is based on true events and focuses on the mine workers in the Kolar Gold Fields during the British Raj. After theatres, the movie is scheduled to release on Netflix on September 20. It stars Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role with Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Daniel Caltagirone, Pasupathy and Hari Krishnan.

Demonte Colony 2
‘Demonte Colony 2’ revolves around a group of friends, who visit a cursed place to unravel the mystery behind the spirits living there. The movie stars Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles. The movie will release on Zee5 on September 27 after its successful theatrical run.

Devara
‘Devara’ will mark Jr NTR’s return on the big screen after his blockbuster movie ‘RRR’. The movie also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, which will also be their Telugu debut. ‘Devara’ is set in the 80s and 90s and will focus on a fearless man from a coastal region on a journey to safeguard the lives of his people. It will hit the theatres on September 27, 2024.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram
‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ has become a hit at the box office and will soon release on the OTT platform. Starring Nani and SJ Suryah in the lead roles, the movie revolves around a vigilante hero trying to defend innocent people from a corrupt cop. According to reports, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is expected to release on Netflix by the end of September 2024.

Kanguva
‘Kanguva’ is one of the most awaited South Indian releases of the year and has been made on a huge budget. Starring Suriya in the lead role, the movie was earlier scheduled to release in theatres in October 2024 but has now been postponed to avoid a clash with Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Vettaiyan’. ‘Kanguva’ also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

‘Vettaiyan’ stars superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role and has created huge hype among the fans due to its talented ensemble star cast. Legend Amitabh Bachchan will share the screen with Rajinikanth after 33 years and will also make his Tamil debut. Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Abhirami will be seen as important roles. It is scheduled to release on October 10, 2024.
