Uorfi Javed walked out of India’s Got Latent, a show hosted by comedian Samay Raina, after two contestants made abusive and degrading comments about her. Addressing the incident on Instagram Stories, Uorfi explained that the verbal attacks left her no choice but to leave the show midway.

In her posts, Uorfi shared the details of her experience, stating, ‘Nowadays, people think it’s cool to abuse someone or shame them for views. I’m sorry, but I’m not okay with anyone abusing me or making assumptions about my personal life.’ She revealed that one contestant abused her after she questioned him about faking a disability, while another made inappropriate comparisons to adult film star Mia Khalifa and commented on her alleged ‘body count’.

Uorfi Javed Remarks On Samay Raina
Uorfi described feeling ‘disgusted’ by the remarks, noting the toxic atmosphere on stage. ‘I should’ve spoken up, but I didn’t because everyone seemed to think this was normal. It’s not,’ she emphasized.
Uorfi made it clear that her issue wasn’t with Samay Raina or the show’s team, who consoled her after the incident. ‘Samay has been nothing but nice to me since then,’ she wrote, adding that her frustration was solely directed at the contestants.
Denies PR Stunt Allegations
Addressing speculation about a possible PR stunt, Uorfi denied any involvement, stating, ‘I’ve not paid anyone to write in my favor or against anyone. This incident happened in front of a live audience.’

Uorfi had previously appeared on the show for an earlier episode. India’s Got Latent has featured other celebrities like Poonam Pandey, Bharti Singh, and Avika Gor. Earlier this year, Uorfi also launched her own show, Follow Kar Lo Yaar, on Prime Video.
