OTT platform Ullu has removed its controversial reality show 'House Arrest' following massive backlash over alleged explicit content. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned the platform's CEO Vibhu Agarwal and host Ajaz Khan to appear before the commission on May 9, according to PTI.

The controversy erupted after viral clips from an episode of April 29 allegedly showed former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan pressuring female participants to engage in intimate acts on camera despite their visible discomfort and repeated refusals. Reports claim women were also asked to undress on set.

NCW condemned the content and posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) "Viral clips show women being coerced into intimate acts on camera. NCW slams the platform for promoting vulgarity and violating consent."

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also voiced concern earlier stating she had raised the issue of OTT vulgarity in the Parliamentary Standing Committee but was still awaiting action.
