Gadar 2 First Song: The makers of Sunny Deol and Ameesha patel starrer Gadar 2 have finally unveiled its first song ‘Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava’. It’s a new version of the song with the same name that featured the duo in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

The new version also reunited the old singing duo Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan. Their melodious voice definitely revives the old Tara Singh-Sakeena romance, just like its original version. Speaking about the new song, Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava is recreated and rearranged by Mithoon. The lyrics are penned by Anand Bakshi.

On June 28, the makers surprised the fans with a teaser of the reprised version of the song. Dropping a poster on Instagram, Anil Sharma wrote, “Get ready for the love story that transcends time! Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava song out tomorrow. Gadar 2 coming to set the screens this Independence Day! In Cinemas on 11th August.”

According to speculations, Gadar 2 would avoid the love narrative depicted in the precursor. The father-son relationship would be the key focus this time. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s on-screen son will be played by actor Utkarsh Sharma in the film. Manish Wadhwa would take on the character of an antagonist in place of Amrish Puri.
