Television actor Akshay Kharodia, who has been part of shows such as Pandya Store and Suhaagan, has left fans shocked with his latest Instagram Post. Akshay announced separation with wife Dr Divya Punetha after three years of marriage. The two tied knot in 2021 and became parents to a baby girl Ruhi in April 2022.
To announce the unfortunate news, Akshay posted a series of photos from their wedding and honeymoon. Alongside, he wrote a caption explaining the mutual respect they hold for each other. “Hello everyone, With a heavy heart, I want to share a deeply personal update. After much thought and countless emotional conversations, Divya and I have decided to part ways.”
“This has been an incredibly difficult decision for both of us. Divya has been an irreplaceable part of my life, and the love, laughter, and memories we’ve shared will always remain precious to me. Together, we were blessed with the greatest gift—our daughter, Ruhi—who will always be the center of our world.”
Further explaining their decision to remain cordial for the sake of their daughter, Akshay added, “As we take this step, our commitment to Ruhi remains unwavering. She will always have the love, care, and support of both her parents, and we will continue to co-parent with love and respect for her well-being.”
As he ended the note, Akshay asked for everyone’s support during these difficult times. “This is not an easy moment for our family, and we ask for your understanding, kindness, and privacy as we navigate this challenging time. Please remember us not for this moment of separation, but for the love and joy we once shared. Thank you for standing by us with your support and compassion,” the post read.

Many of Akshay’s fans expressed shock in the comment section and inquired about the reason for their separation. Few even asked to think about the decision again and try to mend their differences. “U both are so adorable couple.why r u taking such unexpected steps .plz once again think of ur decision,” wrote one.
