Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar box office collection Day 3: Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, was widely anticipated. But, it is not having an impact on box office revenue. The movie, which debuted on March 8 for Holi, had a phenomenal opening weekend, earning Rs 15 crore. Yet it’s now registering a decline. TJMM maintained its consistency, earning Rs 10 crore on Days 2 and 3. Boney Kapoor made his acting debut in the Luv Ranjan-directed love story.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor movie made Rs 15 crore in India on its first day of release. Early trade reports state that TJMM brought in Rs 10 crore on Day 2. On Day 3, March 10, it made the same amount (Rs 10.1 crore). As a result, the total amount collected is now Rs 36.17 crore. On March 10, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar had an overall occupancy rate of 11.66% in Hindi. Box Office India reported, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is chugging along on day three with collections likely to be a bit lower on Friday or at best in the same range as Thursday. Delhi / UP takes a huge hit with collections dropping around 30 per cent in the circuit. There will also be a noticeable drop in Bihar and other centres of East.”
TJMM, meanwhile, is performing quite well on a worldwide scale. Box Office Worldwide reported, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has grossed around $600k over the first two days which is low but there is the weekend to come so the film has to be judged on that as Holi means nothing overseas. After the insane success of Pathaan the Gulf market seems to have gone back to normal and is not contributing as it should. The target is probably to hit around $2 million overseas which is very average at best and there is a chance it could stay lower.”
