Actor Shahid Kapoor, known for his two-decade-long career in Bollywood, recently had an encounter with paparazzi while attending a function with his wife, Mira Rajput. As they stepped out for the event, some paparazzi began shouting and clicking photos.
Shahid Kapoor, visibly irritated, questioned their behavior, saying, “Tu chilla kyu raha hai?” (Why are you shouting?). He continued, “Kya ho jayega? Main yehi khada hu na? Pagalon ki tarah kyu chilla raha hai?” (What will happen? I’m standing right here. Why are you shouting like mad people?). He advised the paparazzo to relax since he was present and told him that he could shout once he left in his car.
Shahid Kapoor was attending the wedding celebration of Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur’s son, Ruhaan Kapoor, and Manukriti Pahwa in Mumbai. He was dressed in a silver-colored suit and pants with sunglasses.
In terms of work, Shahid Kapoor recently exited Anees Bazmee’s comedy film, reportedly titled “Double Trouble,” due to creative differences. The film, in which he was supposed to play dual roles opposite Rashmika Mandanna, will proceed without him.
Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming projects include the Roshan Andrews-directed drama “Koi Shaq,” produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios, which is set to begin filming in September 2023 and release in 2024.
He is also set to star opposite Kriti Sanon in an untitled romantic film produced by Dinesh Vijan, slated for a December release. Shahid was last seen in the crime drama web series “Farzi,” directed by Raj and DK, which received positive reviews.
