Eight months pregnant Malayalam television actress, Dr. Priya, lost her life on Wednesday due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Tragic news struck the Malayalam television industry as Dr. Priya, a renowned actress, lost her life on Wednesday due to a sudden cardiac arrest. This heartbreaking incident occurred when the 35-year-old actress was eight months pregnant, receiving care at a private hospital. What makes this loss even more poignant is that she had recently undergone a routine pregnancy check-up before suffering the fatal heart attack.

The actress’s newborn child now finds themselves in the intensive care unit, adding to the emotional weight of this unexpected tragedy. Actor Kishor Satya, visibly shaken by the news, shared the sorrowful update with fans through his social media channels. He expressed, “One more unexpected death in the Malayalam television sector. Dr. Priya died of cardiac arrest yesterday. She was 8 months pregnant. The baby is in the ICU. There were no other health issues.” The incident occurred two days after the shocking demise of another Malayalam actress Rejusha Menon.
Kishor Satya also shared the heart-wrenching emotional toll this loss has taken on Priya’s family, saying, “The mother who is crying, unable to accept the death of her only daughter. The pain of husband Nanna as a loving partner with Priya without going anywhere for 6 months. Last night while going to the hospital, the sight of sadness rained in my mind. What will you say to comfort them? Why did God show this cruelty to those innocent minds who are believers? The mind kept repeating the questions… Unanswered questions…”
