Agreed, Vikram Bhatt has not had a success in a very long time. However, industry chatter suggests that Tumko Meri Kasam might finally break Vikram’s streak of failures. According to his mentor Mahesh Bhatt, the film has shaped up “very well.”
“Vikram is a survivor. I don’t know how long I’ve known him. Every time he fails, he picks himself up and starts all over again. Not too many of us in this industry have that kind of resilience. I believe Tumko Meri Kasam will be Vikram’s clutter-breaker,” predicts Bhatt Saab.
And I cannot disagree.
A Story Rooted In Real Life
Recreating the life and work of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a nationwide chain of fertility clinics, Tumko Meri Kasam has a powerful story to tell. The cast promises to make audiences forget their real identities, fully embodying their characters.
Ishwak Singh and Adah Sharma come to this film fresh from their successes in Paatal Lok and Kerala Files, respectively. As for Esha Deol, she features in a pivotal role where audiences will see her as never before. Both Esha and Anupam Kher carry the film confidently to the finishing line.

Says Ishwak, “I’ve finally done a film with the Bhatts — Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt — Tumko Meri Kasam. It’s a beautiful genre-bender: romance, drama with a strong central idea. I’ve always wanted to work with the Bhatts; they are among the few masters of the game who have constantly reinvented themselves and come back stronger decade after decade. Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, and Esha Deol are in the movie along with me.”

Anupam Kher adds, “I can never say no to Bhatt Saab, even if I wanted to. And why would I have said no to Tumko Meri Kasam? It is a lovely, sensitive subject. Vikram Bhatt and I got to work with a dedicated cast. I have never worked with the talented Ishwak and Adah before. I’ve done several films with Esha Deol’s beautiful mother, Hema Malini ji. Now I got to work with her lovely daughter as well. This is my 543rd film, and I feel as if it’s my first.”
