Yash is gearing up to return to the big screen with his next film, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale’. The movie has created excitement among the audience ever since its announcement. It will also mark Yash’s first project after the success of KGF: Chapter 2. There were several rumours regarding the film being delayed but the makers have cleared the air.
Confirming the release, the production house wrote on X, “140 days to go… “
Earlier, trade analyst Taran Adarsh slammed the rumours of Yash’s film being delayed. He wrote on X, “STOP THE RUMOURS… YASH’S NEXT FILM ‘TOXIC’ IS NOT DELAYED OR POSTPONED – 19 MARCH 2026 RELEASE CONFIRMED… Spoke to the producers – #Toxic is firmly on track for its [Thursday] 19 March 2026 release, perfectly timed for the festive weekend of #Ugadi, #GudiPadwa, and #Eid.”
“Post-production began while #Yash was filming for #Ramayana in #Mumbai. The team is now completing the final portions of the shoot and will commence full-fledged promotions in Jan 2026. Shot simultaneously in #English and #Kannada, #Toxic will also be dubbed in multiple #Indian and international languages, including #Hindi, #Telugu, #Tamil, and #Malayalam,” he further wrote.

Not much has been revealed about the film and there has been a lot of speculations regarding its lead actresses. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash was asked about Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi being part of ‘Toxic’ and the actor looked visibly surprised. To this, Yash replied, “Is it?” He added, “I am not talking about it. Let us officially confirm something. Yes, there are strong women characters.”
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the movie is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under their banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations respectively.
