Marvel is finally back in the game after the grand success of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’. The future line-up of Marvel was officially announced at the San Diego Comic Con 2024 event and one of the most awaited projects is ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Robert Downey Jr, who was earlier seen as Iron Man/Tony Stark in all the MCU projects, will return to Marvel as Doctor Doom in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. According to the latest reports by Hollywood journalist Daniel Richtman, Tom Holland will also be seen in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
Tom Holland will reportedly reprise his role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and will have a more important role than he had in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The actor earlier confirmed ‘Spider-Man 4’ and revealed that the movie is currently in development. However, the plans for ‘Spider-Man 4’ were not revealed with other Marvel’s announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con 2024.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Downey Jr revealed how Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige convinced him to return to MCU. The actor said, “He said, ‘It just keeps occurring to me, if you were to come back …’ Susan (his wife) was like, ‘Wait, wait. Come back as what?’”
He continued, “And he brought up Victor Von Doom. I looked into this character. Later on, he goes, ‘Let’s get Victor Von Doom right.’”

Marvel had earlier introduced Jonathan Majors as Kang The Conqueror, who was supposed to be the new supervillain and was also seen in ‘Loki’ and ‘Ant-Man 4’. But Marvel dropped the plot after Majors was arrested for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend and was found guilty.
