New Delhi: Upasna Singh, who is best known for featuring as Pinky bua (Pinky Aunty) in The Kapil Sharma Show has decided to take legal action against Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu for not honouring an agreement signed for the promotion of a Punjabi movie produced by her.
On Thursday, Upasana Singh filed a civil lawsuit in the Chandigarh district court, demanding damages for what she claimed was a breach of contract on the part of Harnaaz Sandhu, who starred in her play “Bai ji Kuttange.” “I offered Harnaaz a role in the film “Bai ji Kuttange.” In addition to this, I also made “Yaara Diyan Poo Baran,” in which Harnaaz appears as the lead, ” she said.

According to the movie’s producer, Sandhu was required under her contract with her Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP to be accessible both in person and online for the film’s advertising. But according to Singh, she has declined to provide promotional campaign dates. Sandhu did not respond to Singh’s accusations right away.
“I gave her a chance at that time when she was not Miss Universe, I spent a huge sum on this movie. It is not a small-budget movie,” stated Upasana. The actress also claimed that she had to postpone the film’s release date from May 27 to August 19. The film, Bai Ji Kuttange, also stars Dev Kharoud and Gurpreet Ghuggi and is directed by Smeep Kang.
