Thunivu box office collection Day 4: Thunivu, starring Ajith Kumar, has had a fantastic start since its release. According to reports, the film even crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on Day 1 itself. Despite a box office clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu, Thunivu is unstoppable and has crossed Rs 100 crore globally.

Thunivu, directed by H Vinoth, released in theatres on January 11, setting the tone for the Pongal celebrations. Varisu was a key box office competitor for the picture. While it remains to be seen which film succeeds better in terms of box office numbers, Thunivu is doing exceptionally well. Like Varisu, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and is dominating the foreign market. Ajith starrer is, in reality, Ajith’s highest-grossing film of all time.

About The Film
The movie was written, directed, and produced by Boney Kapoor. Along with Samuthirakani, Pavani Reddy, Manju Warrier, and Ajith Kumar, it also has John Kokken, Mamathi Chari, Veera, and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles. The movie, which will be Ajith’s 61st in a main role, was announced in February 2022 with the working title AK61.
The storyline of the movie centres around Radha, a notorious gangster. He and his men prepare to rob one of Chennai’s largest banks, but they soon learn that the bank has already been taken over by another gang led by a strange figure known only as the “Dark Devil.”
