Thunivu box office collection Day 10: Thunivu, a film starring Ajith Kumar, is doing well at the box office. The movie did well at the box office in the first nine days of its release. The film, which was directed by H Vinoth, is also performing incredibly well abroad. 

Thunivu’s global take would shortly surpass Rs 200 crore and 2023 couldn’t have gotten off to a better start. Before Pongal, the movie opened in theatres on January 11 (2023). The film made Rs 2.75 crore on January 19. However, Thunivu experienced a minor decline on day 10 at the box office.

Box Office Collection 

At the box office, Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu battled. The two films are both performing well at the box office. Early projections indicate that Ajith Kumar’s movie made Rs 2.30 crore at the box office. Despite this, trade indications indicate that the movie will gain steam throughout the weekend.

Thunivu overtook Valimai’s lifetime box office earnings in the meantime in UAE box office. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and wrote, “At the #UAE Box Office, #Thunivu has grossed $784,597 till Jan 15th.. It beats the lifetime collections of #Valimai – $704,679 (sic).”

About Thunivu 

The movie was written, directed, and produced by Boney Kapoor. Along with Samuthirakani, Pavani Reddy, Manju Warrier, and Ajith Kumar, it also has John Kokken, Mamathi Chari, Veera, and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles. The movie, which will be Ajith’s 61st in a main role, was announced in February 2022 with the working title AK61. 

The storyline of the film centres around Radha, a notorious gangster. He and his men prepare to rob one of Chennai’s largest banks, but they soon learn that the bank has already been taken over by another gang led by a strange figure known only as the “Dark Devil.”
