The intimate scene between Triptii Dimri and Ranbir Kapoor in the recent film ‘Animal’ has sparked discussion online, with fans expressing their perspectives. In a recent interview, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga provided insights into the scene, explaining its purpose involving the main characters and suggesting a connection that may be further explored in the sequel.

In the midst of mixed reviews, the scenes that have gone viral, notably those portraying the intense chemistry between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay, and Triptii’s character, Zoya, have become a major topic of discussion.

In a conversation with Galatta, Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave details about filming the viral intimate scene and its significance. While discussing his creative choices, the filmmaker disclosed that the original sequence initially showed the characters getting close, followed by a cut to a shot of them lying together on the bed. However, upon reviewing the edited footage, they decided to make alterations to the scene.

“Thoda toh warm up dikhaenge nahi toh audience (will be like), ‘Kya ho raha hai?’ Shot ka value kharab ho jaega” (We’ll show a bit of warm-up; otherwise, the audience will be like, ‘What’s happening?’ The value of the shot will be lost),” Vanga said.

He further added that he explained the scenes to the actors and ‘‘It will look like a painting.”Sandeep Reddy Vanga aimed to create an atmosphere in the intimate scene where the characters appear lost, fostering the impression of an unexpected love story unfolding. While dropping hints about their chemistry in the sequel, ‘Animal Park,’ the director mentioned that the layers of their relationship and its depth will be further explored in the next installment.

The film released in Theatres on December 1 and went on to become a huge box office success. The film also starred Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
