The year 2023 has proved to be a great year for the Indian cinema. Bollywood film hits like Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, and Rajinikanth’s Jailer, etc. have earned around Rs 3400 crore worldwide.

There are again some big films coming in 2024 which include Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki, Prabhas’ Salaar, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. These films are all set to get released.

But there’s a movie that has already earned a whopping 250 crores for its OTT rights.

OTT rights sold for Rs 250 crore

The movie ‘Game Changer’ is being counted among the most awaited films of the year 2024, in which Kiara Advani is paired with Ram Charan. The teaser and poster of the film were shared on Ram Charan’s birthday on March 27.

The shooting of the film is not completed yet but its OTT deal has been done. The OTT rights (all languages) of the film have been bought by ZEE5 for Rs 250 crore, as per reports by OTT Play. However, this has not been officially confirmed by the actors or makers.

Director Shankar’s comeback

Directed by Shankar, Game Changer will be one of the most anticipated films for him because he is making a comeback with this film after 6 years. Earlier, his film 2.0 was released in the year 2018, in which Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth were in the lead roles. Let us tell you that apart from this political drama (Game Changer), Shankar has also directed Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Indian 2’. The film has been in the news for a long time.

Kiara Advani and Ram Charan duo in the film

Actors Ram Charan and Kiara Advani will be seen working together for the second time in Game Changer. Earlier, both of them had worked together in the Telugu action film Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019. The film was directed by Boyapati Srinu but proved to be a flop at the box office. However, this time there is excitement among the audience for the upcoming film.
