‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’, streaming on Prime Video, has come to an end with its third season. Millions of viewers were hooked to their screens to see a messy yet heart-wrenching love triangle involving characters Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah. After its end, it has achieved a new milestone by becoming the most-watched TV season ever among women aged 18 to 34 on Prime Video.
Announcing the news, the show’s creator, Jenny Han, wrote, “We’ll always have summer. Thank you for being part of the 70+ million global viewers that made the third summer in Cousins reach #1 in 140+ countries on Prime Video.”
As per a report by The Wrap, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3’ had a 65 per cent increase in viewership from the previous season. It also gained 915 million social engagements, 48 billion impressions, and 2.8 billion views.

Meanwhile, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ will return with a movie. Talking about the new movie, Jenny Han said in a statement, “There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due. I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”
In the last episode, Belly and Conrad reunite in Paris after a long time and spend some time together. Even though they have feelings for each other, they do not confess and downplay their love. Belly once again begins to distance herself from Conrad due to her conflicting emotions. Later, she finally realises she still loves Conrad and races to the railway station to meet him. The series ends with Belly revealing that she is married to Conrad, and they arrive at Cousins as a couple.
