According to a report by OTTplay, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ will release on Zee5 on January 10, 2025. The official announcement regarding the film’s OTT release is awaited.
‘The Sabarmati Report’ was also made tax-free in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. While speaking to ANI, Vikrant said, “The Uttar Pradesh government has made this (The Sabarmati Report) film tax-free. I want to thank Yogi Adityanath ji…This is an important film and I appeal to everyone to go and watch this film…”

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised the film on X. He reshared a post that called the film ‘a must watch’ and wrote, “Well said. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period of time. Eventually, the facts will always come out!”

Meanwhile. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was also screened at the parliament in the presence of PM Narendra Modi.
Apart from Vikrant Massey, the movie also stars Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in the lead roles. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is based on the events that took place on February 27, 2002, near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat.
