In a recent episode of the Meri Saheli podcase, author Hanif Zaveri shared his new insights into this controversial relationship. As per reports by DNA, Zaveri revealed shocking details about the affair that had once shaken Bollywood and said, “They got very close, and I don’t know how they fell in love, but it is 100 per cent certain that they were in love.” He further revealed that it was Jaya who made the bold decision and recalled, ” Jaya took a stand to protect her marriage and decided to confront Rekha by calling her at her residence when Amitabh was not present. She fed her food had a conversation with her and when Rekha was about to leave, Jaya looked at her and said, ‘Amitabh is mine. He was mine and will always be mine.” After which Rekha distanced herself from Mr. Bachchan both personally as well as career wise.
