New Delhi: With its American adaptation, The Office became one of the most famous sitcoms. According to reports, originally it was adapted from the British series of the same name. Unlike Michael Scott’s sitcom adaptation, the new sitcom adaptation is said to have a female lead.
This new show is based on an after-COVID plot twist, where the new female character is informed that her branch is closing and staff will have to work from home. Felicity Ward, an Australian comedian and actor, will lead the new mockumentary series. She will portray Hannah Howard, the MD of the packaging company, Flinley Craddick, in the new Australian adaptation.

The eight-part television series will begin filming in Sydney in June. The new show will be produced by Prime Video, BBC Studios Australia, New Zealand, and Bunya Entertainment and will be known as an Amazon Original.
Meanwhile, as soon as the news came out, fans seem disappointed with the announcement. One user wrote, “No one needs an office remake of any kind unless it’s with the original cast.” Another wrote, “If there’s 3 The Offices, how are we gonna differentiate which one is which?”
