The Last Of Us Season 2 First Reviews: The Last Of Us is gearing up for the release of its most awaited second season. Based on a video game of the same name, the series is set in a near future where humans are transformed into a zombie-like creatures due to a fungal infection. As the show has created huge excitement and expectation, fans can now be assured as it has received good reviews on Rotton Tomatoes.
The Last Of Us Season 2 has received 93 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes. It has also received good reviews from different critics, who praised the new season.

The new season is set five years after the events of its first season. Also based on the 2020 game ‘The Last Of Us Part II’ and will introduce a new character Abby. The show primarily focuses on Joel and his daughter Ellie, who are trying to survive in the new world. Abby is a soldier of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) and is on a quest to take revenge on Joel, who killed her father. ‘The Last Of Us Season 2’ stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Tamsey in the lead roles and they portray the father-daughter duo Joel and Ellie. Kaitlyn Dever is the new addition to the cast and will be seen as Abby.

In an earlier interview with Deadline, Craig Mazin revealed that the show might have a third season. He said, “As a fan, I’m thrilled there might be a third Last of Us game.”
He added, “As the co-creator, there’s no world where we want our show to go beyond the source material people know. Our show, as people know it on HBO, will cover the second game’s material and include much relevant content. Still, it will wander into interesting new paths, telling stories within the context of the game’s material.”
The Last Of Us Season 2 will release in India on JioHotstar on April 14. A new episode will release every Monday.
