The Kerala Story box office collection Day 13: The Kerala Story cannot be stopped! The Adah Sharma-starring movie is drawing a lot of attention as viewers swarm to theatres to see it. Since its debut, the contentious movie has been in the news. The Kerala Story, directed by Sudipto Sen, recently earned a place in the Rs 150 crore club.
The movie’s box office receipts slightly decreased on May 17. Even yet, it still managed to bring in a staggering Rs 165 crore domestically. The Kerala Story has been the second-highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2023 despite several controversies.

The film was able to surpass Rs 150 crore (nett) in box office receipts on May 16. Early projections indicated that the movie grew significantly on Day 13, May 17. It is said to have brought approximately Rs 9.25 crore at the box office. The film has thus far earned a total of Rs. 165.94 crore.

About the film
According to reports, the central character of The Kerala Story is an innocent Hindu woman from Kerala who is misled and converted by Islamic companions. Later, she gets transferred to the ISIS terrorist group. Everyone was surprised, though, to learn that the movie is based on actual events in which some 32,000 Keralan women fell victim to this risky ruse.
Even when the trailer debuted, the movie was being scanned. Following this, there have been an increase in resentment and demonstrations calling for the film’s ban. The trailer for the movie, however, now refers to the current stories of three women rather than the “story of 32,000 women.” That spurred additional discussion.
