The Kapil Sharma Show: The TV comedy programme ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been taking hiatus for a few years because host Kapil Sharma wanted to spend time with his family or because he was preoccupied with other projects.
The show’s creators also made several alterations over time. Now it is known that TKSS will once more briefly go off the air. The final episode will air in June before it returns to television.
TKSS to go on a temporary break
According to a source per Indian Express, “Seasonal breaks have actually worked for the show giving us a chance to stir up things in terms of content and cast. Also, comedy is a tough genre and actors need a break so that monotony doesn’t set in. Everyone can return refreshed and we can experiment with a different format and some new characters.”
The source further added, “Kapil Sharma also has an international tour lined up and thus the decision to take a break at this time came in. The team, as of now, plans to shoot a bank of episodes so that their fans do not miss them for long. However, the duration of the break hasn’t been decided as of now.”

Kapil Sharma also has a planned foreign tour, which is how the decision to take a vacation at this time came about, the source continued. To ensure that their fans do not have to wait too long for new episodes, the crew now aims to shoot a bank of them. The length of the break, however, has not yet been determined.
The final TKSS date has not yet been determined, the insider added. The crew will probably finish filming in May, and the final season episode will show in June.
