Fans of The Hunger Games a big reason to celebrate as the first teaser of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is finally here! The upcoming prequel is based on Suzzane Collin’s novel that takes audiences back to Panem exploring its darker past. Lionsgate has officially announced that the film will hit the big screens on November 20, 2026.

The 55 seconds teaser showcases flames erupting from a volcano, the emblem of rebellion in a Capitol-controlled world then confronts a snake, a chilling symbol long associated with the Games and at last the magnificent voice of Woody Harrelson saying ” “I think these games are going to be different.”
