New Delhi: The makers of The Great Indian Kitchen have unveiled its trailer on October 25. The movie is a Tamil remake of the 2021 blockbuster Malayalam drama of the same name. The Tamil version of The Great Indian Kitchen will feature Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role.
Aishwarya will be essaying the role of Nimisha Sajayan from the original drama. Helmed by R Kannan, the film depicts the painful plight of a household woman, struggling to find her existence after marriage.

The trailer opens with a girl entering matrimony and how her life changes after that. She has to bear the brunt of society on a daily basis to prove that she is a good wife and daughter-in-law.
The film will also star Yogi Babu, Kalairani, and Poster Nandakumar in pivotal roles. Speaking of the background score, the music is given by Jerry Silvester Vincent. Balasubramaniem has done the cinematography.
Produced by Durgaram Choudhary and Neel Choudhary, Leo John Paul is the editor of the film. For the uninitiated, the original movie was made by Jeo Baby and featured Nimisha Vijayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead role.
Meanwhile, as per media reports, the film is also going to be remade in Hindi.
