New Delhi: The makers of Kajol starrer The Good Wife drops its first look video on Thursday. The Good Wife-Love, Law, Deception is all set to stream in Disney+ Hotstar. The first look garnered immense appreciation from the viewers. Kajol looks no less than a ‘boss lady’ in the teaser video.
To mention, the Kajol starrer will be a Hindi adaptation of the CBS series featuring Alicia Florrick of the same name. Sharing the first look video, the makers captioned it, “Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka – a fight of #TheGoodWife #HotstarSpecials #TheGoodWife, coming soon.”

In the video, Kajol is dressed in a black pantsuit. She enters the courtroom with confidence and left the fans intrigued as she signs off by saying, “Shuru Kareain?”
In the series, Kajol will be seen playing the role of a housewife who is forced to return to work as a lawyer after her husband’s public scandal puts him behind bars.

The film is directed by Suparn Verma, who also directed Prime’s show The Family Man. The Good Wife-Love, Law, Deception is produced by Banijay Asia.
Earlier, the streaming platform had shared a video of Kajol hinting at her mega-project without sharing many details. Kajol in a statement had shared, “great thing as I love to take challenges head-on. Being an avid fan of digital series, the concept has always been intriguing; and after following cool shows such as ‘Aarya’ and ‘Rudra’, I knew there was no other platform than Disney+ Hotstar to start my series journey.”
Meanwhile, the actress had previously starred in the Netflix release Tribhanga, which starred her alongside Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar, and was directed by Renuka Shahane.
