‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Box Office Collection Day 6: Film’s Global Buzz Stays Strong, India Collection Struggles To Pick Up

'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' is off to a stellar start globally, raking in $227 million in its opening weekend. However, the film is facing a tough battle in India, with collections slowing down.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, the most-awaited Marvel movie of 2025, recently hit theatres worldwide. The movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audiences, which is a big relief for Marvel Studios, as several of their past projects underperformed.

However, it opened to a lukewarm start at the Indian box office. It earned much less than expected on its first day, mainly because of fewer screens, tough competition from other movies still running, and audience fatigue with superhero films.

The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection India Day 6:

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ has seen a mixed performance at the Indian box office across its first six days. The film opened on a decent note, collecting Rs 5.5 crore on Day 1, followed by a noticeable jump on Day 2 with Rs 7.35 crore. Day 3 saw a slight dip with Rs 7.25 crore. However, the numbers took a sharp fall on Day 4, dropping to Rs 1.66 crore. There was a minor recovery on Day 5 with Rs 1.9 crore.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, the film collected Rs 1.05 crore on Day 6. With this, the film’s total six-day collection in India stands at approximately Rs 24.71 crore.

The Marvel film might have earned more if Saiyaara wasn’t dominating the box office. Since Bollywood movies were the top choice for audiences this weekend, the one starring Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby clearly took a major hit. Now, everyone is watching the weekday numbers but with the current trend, even reaching the Rs 50 crore mark is looking tough.

The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 6:

Internationally, however, The Fantastic Four had a strong start at the box office. Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps blasted off with an impressive $227 million global debut. Pedro Pascal and the cast lit up screens worldwide, with the film coming close to matching the momentum of Superman.

As of July 30, 2025, Superman (2025) maintains a strong lead at the global box office, grossing $503.6 million compared to Fantastic Four’s $218 million. While Superman has had a longer theatrical run, it currently holds the edge in total worldwide earnings.

Compared to other superhero films in similar regions, its international debut was 4% better than Captain America: Brave New World, 11% better than Superman, and 13% better than Thunderbolts. According to Deadline, The Fantastic Four also had the biggest superhero opening of 2025 in several smaller countries outside Europe and Latin America, including Mexico, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain.

About The Film:

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set in 1960 on Earth-828. The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn in the lead roles. Julia Garner, Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ralph Ineson are seen in pivotal roles.
