The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection Day 4: Pedro Pascal-Vanessa Kirby Film Soars Globally, Sluggish In India

Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps had a huge opening around the world. But in India, the response was not as strong because of limited screens and tough competition from local films.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, the most-awaited Marvel movie of 2025, has finally hit theatres worldwide. The movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audiences, which is a big relief for Marvel Studios, as several of their past projects underperformed.

However, it opened to a lukewarm start at the Indian box office. It earned much less than expected on its first day, mainly because of fewer screens, tough competition from other movies still running, and audience fatigue with superhero films.

The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection India Day 4:

At the Indian box office, The Fantastic Four: First Steps had a modest start. It earned approximately Rs 5.25 crore on its opening day, followed by a slight rise on Day 2 with collections around Rs 7.35 crore and Rs 7.25 crore on Day 3. The Monday dip is typical of weekday trends.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, the film collected Rs 2 crore on Day 4. With this, its total box office collection now stands at Rs 22.10 crore. The Pedro Pascal–Vanessa Kirby starrer experienced a sharp drop in collections on Day 4, a steep decline of over 72% from Day 3. This dip is typical of a Monday slowdown following a strong weekend.

The Marvel film might have earned more if Saiyaara wasn’t dominating the box office. Since Bollywood movies were the top choice for audiences this weekend, the one starring Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby clearly took a major hit. Now, everyone is watching the weekday numbers to see if it can hold strong and reach the Rs 50 crore mark.

The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 4:

Internationally, however, The Fantastic Four had a strong start at the box office. As per studio estimates, it earned $118 million in North America from 4,125 theatres and another $100 million from 52 countries overseas. This adds up to a global opening of $218 million.

Compared to other superhero films in similar regions, its international debut was 4% better than Captain America: Brave New World, 11% better than Superman, and 13% better than Thunderbolts. According to Deadline, The Fantastic Four also had the biggest superhero opening of 2025 in several smaller countries outside Europe and Latin America, including Mexico, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain.

About The Film:

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set in 1960 on Earth-828. The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn in the lead roles. Julia Garner, Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ralph Ineson are seen in pivotal roles.
