As per reports by The Sacnilk, The Diplomat saw a dip on the 6th day and collected only Rs.1.34 crore bringing the total collection to 19.15 crore and on its eighth day the film earned around 1.25 Crore (early estimates) bringing the total collection to 20.04 Crore.
John Abraham Shines In A Power-Packed Role
John Abraham who is known for his action packed roles, delivers a remarkable performance as J.P Singh, an Indian diplomat who navigates high stakes international relations after Umza Ahme, an Indian citizen who was abducted and forced to marry a Pakistani man. The supporting cast which stars Kumud Mishra, Sadia Khateeb, Jagjit Sandhu, Prapti Shukla has also been lauded for its intensity and adding depth to the film.

The Diplomat is backed by a great team of producers from several of the top production houses. The movie is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series, together with John Abraham’s JA Entertainment. Vipul D.
