How has the response to The Ba***ds Of Bollywood changed your life and the drift of your career?
After the television series ‘Porus’, which culminated in 2018, Karan Johar’s ‘KILL’ was the project that I actually did as a lead role. This was highly acclaimed not only in India but around the globe, going to TIFF, UAE, Mexico, USA, and so many countries, and created an audible strong buzz.
But ‘Kill’ was too violent for younger viewers?
It had a domain of restricted viewers due to the ‘Adults Only’ certification and a selective group of viewers-excluding the general/common family viewers, and my performance was also confined to a defined circle of action. But ‘The Bads Of Bollywood’ has provided me a platform that actually offered me the opportunity to manifest the versatility of an actor. It enabled me to exhibit the emotional, action, romance, comedy, drama, musical, and all possible genres of an actor. Hence, with ‘The Bads Of Bollywood, I have put my best to show and exhibit my strengths on all parameters. So to me, this drift of my career seems to be very significant and worthy.
