Thamma star cast fees: Ayushmann Khurrana paid Rs 10 Cr, Here’s what Rashmika Mandanna & Nawazuddin Siddiqui earned

The upcoming horror-comedy Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The film also features Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles. Ahead of its release, reports revealed how much the actors were paid.

According to sources, Ayushmann Khurrana, the lead actor, reportedly received Rs 8 to 10 crore for his role in the movie. Rashmika Mandanna, the female lead, is said to have earned Rs 5-7 crore.

Malaika Arora reportedly charged Rs 2 crore for a special dance number in the film, while veteran actor Paresh Rawal is also said to have been paid Rs 2 crore. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, another key cast member, reportedly earned between Rs 3-4 crore.

Who Plays What In Thamma?

Earlier, while unveiling the teaser, the makers also revealed the first looks of the lead actors. The makers wrote, “Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok – Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed.”Meanwhile, Rashmika looked intense in her first look from Thama. Sharing the poster, Maddock Films wrote, “Presenting Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka – Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran.” Nawazuddin will be seen as Yakshsan, who is described as ‘Andhere ka badshah’, aka the king of darkness. Veteran actor Paresh Rawal will play the role of Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, a person who sees tragedy in comedy.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film is set for a Diwali release on October 21, 2025.
