Thamma Box Office Collection Day 3:
According to the website Sacnilk, Thamma collected Rs 12.50 crore on day 3 as per early estimates. The movie earned Rs 55.10 crore in total within three days.
As Thamma became the biggest opener of Ayushmann’s career, the actor thanked for Dinesh Vijan and his fans for their love. “Having carved a niche with my unique, quirky films, I was eagerly waiting for that one opportunity to bring my brand of cinema on Diwali – a festival that has seen the biggest of the biggest superstars release their tentpole films in. Thamma is the tentpole film of my career and I’m fortunate to have got Diwali to release it. Every year, I used to go to theatres with my family to watch a superstar’s film release. Today, I have gone to theatres to watch my film with my family. It feels incredible!” he said in a statement.

The movie also had a cameo role of Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Banerjee as Thamma is a part of the same universe as Stree and Bhediya.
While speaking on Zoom, Thamma’s writer, Niren Bhatt, talked about how Bhediya has been included in the film. “In Thamma, we have a huge werewolf. Now, whether it is Varun Dhawan or Kriti Sanon, we will get to know in the film. In Bhediya, we showed Bhaskar as a normal wolf. The version in Thamma is more muscular and bigger. How did that version form? We have answers in the film,” he said.
The movie clashed with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat in theatres.
