‘Thama’ is the new addition to the Maddock horror universe, which has already produced some hit films like ‘Stree’, ‘Stree 2’, ‘Munjya’ and ‘Bhediya’. The movie will introduce a vampire in this universe, and Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna will lead this. The makers have finally unveiled the first look at the main cast of ‘Thama’, and it looks intriguing.
Unveiling Ayushmann Khurrana’s first look, the makers wrote, “Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok – Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed. The World of Thama drops tomorrow at 11:11 am. This Diwali, the universe gives us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide – #Thama.”
Meanwhile, Rashmika looked intense in her first look from Thama. Sharing the poster, Maddock Films wrote, “Presenting Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka – Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran.”
Nawazuddin will be seen as Yakshsan, who is described as ‘Andhere ka badshah’, aka the king of darkness.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal will play the role of Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, a person who sees tragedy in comedy.
‘Thama’ will hit the theatres on Diwali 2025.
All the movies in Maddock Horror Universe have been major hits. Upcoming movies in this universe are: Shakti Shalini, Bhediya 2, Chamunda, Stree 3, Maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh and Doosra Mahayudh.
According to reports, Kiara Advani will be seen in the lead role in ‘Shakti Shalini’. ‘Bhediya 2’ will mark Varun Dhawan’s return in the franchise but Kriti Sanon’s involment in he film remains a mystery. Alia Bhatt is rumoured to join this horror universe with ‘Chamunda’.
