On Vijay’s birthday, June 22, the first single, Naa Ready from Leo, was released. While the song became a chart-topper, it also landed the crew in hot water. RTI Selvam, an activist, has filed a complaint against the team for encouraging drug use and rowdiness in the Naa Ready song.
The first-look poster of Leo was released on Vijay’s 49th birthday. Fans wanted to know if Leo was a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
Complaint filed against actor Vijay
Thalapathy Vijay and Leo’s producers are in hot water over the recently released Naa Ready song. An activist from Chennai’s Korukkuppettai, RTI Selvam, has filed a complaint against Vijay and the Leo crew for glorifying drug use and rowdiness in the Naa Ready Song.
On June 25, he made an online complaint, and on June 26, he submitted his petition at 10 a.m. He urged the court to prosecute them under the Narcotic Control Act.
It should be noted that the Chennai police have been staging a number of anti-drug events throughout the city. Karthi and Vijay Antony, both actors, attended the ceremonies.
