Allu Arjun was honoured with the Best Actor award for his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2024. The ceremony was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy presented the award to the actor.
Allu Arjun shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, thanking the Government of Telangana, CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, producer Dil Raju and the jury. He wrote, “Humbled and grateful to receive the Gaddar Award for Best Actor for #Pushpa2. My heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana, The Honourable CM Sri @revanthofficial Garu, Deputy CM @bhatti_vikramarka Garu, Cinematography Minister @komatireddy__venkatreddy Garu, #DilRaju garu & all the Jury members for this honour and for celebrating cinema through such a wonderful initiative.”

Nivetha Thomas won Best Actress for 35: Chinna Katha Kaadu, and Nag Ashwin was awarded Best Director for Kalki 2898 AD.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of leading figures from the Telugu film industry including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijay Deverakonda, directors Sukumar, M. Sukumar, S. S. Rajamouli, as well as iconic filmmaker Mani Ratnam and actress Suhasini.
About Pushpa 2: The Rule
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a Telugu action drama film. Written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. A sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), it is the second installment in the Pushpa film series. The film stars Allu Arjun in the lead role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh. It follows Pushpa Raj, a labourer turned red sandalwood smuggler, as he faces growing threats from his enemies, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
