Taylor Swift is back with a new album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, and fans can’t keep calm. The pop star has been creating buzz regarding her new album and songs for quite some time. Her fans have huge expectations from it, owing to the grand success of her previous albums.
According to Forbes, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is expected to break several records. Her last album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department, ‘ sold around 2.61 million in its first week in the US. Meanwhile, the new album also created a new record of five million pre-saves.
Taylor is already in the news due to her engagement to Travis Kelce, and her appearance on the latter’s podcast ‘New Height’ also broke viewership records.
Announcing the release of ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, Taylor penned a note on Instagram. She wrote, “Tonight all these lives converge here, The mosaics of laughter and cocktails of tears, Where fraternal souls sing identical things And it’s beautiful. It’s rapturous. It is frightening. I can’t tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right. A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max and Shellback for helping me paint this self portrait. If you thought the big show was wild, perhaps you should come and take a look behind the curtain… The Life of a Showgirl is out now.”

Meanwhile, Taylor has also been hitting the headlines due to her engagement with NFL player Travis Kelce. In an appearance in the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce, Taylor revealed how her now-fiance approached her. She revealed, “It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I want to date you’. [He thought] because he knows the elevator lady, that he could talk to her about just getting down to my dressing room. That’s how it works in 1973!”
“This felt more like I was in an 80s John Hughes movie and he was just standing outside of my window with a boombox being like, ‘I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet’ … I was like, if this guy isn’t crazy – which is a big if – this is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager,” she added.
Taylor and Travis have been openly dating for quite some time. Travis was seen attending Taylor’s concerts, whereas, the pop star was spotted at Travis’ matches several times with his family.
