Taylor Swift has reportedly stopped communicating with Blake Lively, according to a Daily Mail report. Sources claim Swift declined an invitation to the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event, where Lively and Kim Kardashian were present.
An insider revealed, “Taylor is reassessing her friendships and distancing herself from those who might be using her name for personal gain.” Taylor Swift is currently focused on her new album and is determined not to let external controversies affect her career.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have not been seen together in public since October 2024, when they were spotted on a double date with their respective partners, Ryan Reynolds and Travis Kelce, in New York. Their absence from each other’s lives became more noticeable after Blake Lively was not part of Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl entourage.

The Justin Baldoni Lawsuit Connection
Speculation about their strained friendship intensified after actor Justin Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Justin Baldoni alleged that Blake Lively made false harassment claims and used Taylor Swift’s influence to pressure him during script discussions with Reynolds.
According to sources, Taylor Swift is choosing to step back from Blake Lively to avoid getting further entangled in the Justin Baldoni lawsuit. “She never wanted to be inv/olved in this situation and is now prioritising her career and well-being,” a source added.
Taylor Swift has not publicly addressed the matter, and Blake Lively has also remained silent on the growing speculation.
